Our search for an agent to sell my mother’s home started with 3 appointments from agents in the Liverpool area. My purpose of having 3 choices was to get a feel for which agent would not only provide me with the best outcome from a sale point of view but also have an understanding of the emotional realities of my mother moving on post my father’s death and 60 years in our family home. I heard all the regular promises from the agents that we did not choose giving me all the fantastic ideas and advantages they could offer my mum, however other than Franc none of them showed any compassion for my mother’s situation. It was all about the hard sell.

In the end we gave Franc Violi the contract to go do his best with. Franc was approachable, understanding of my Mothers needs and very professional in his approach. Not once did I or my Mum feel that we were under any pressure to make any decisions that we were not comfortable making. Whilst Franc was driving the train we were in charge of its destination.

3 weeks later the family home was sold, at the price we expected to receive, my mother is happy in her new place and still asks me how Franc is going. This in itself shows me the respect that Franc built up with her over a very short working relationship.

My family would like to personally thank Franc and his team for making what could have been a very stressful situation a pleasurable one.

Selling a house is never easy, especially when you have lived there for 34 years and are recently widowed.
